勿忘にくちづけをシングルでリリースしたあと、「和」というものに初めてもっと傾倒したいな、そんな歌を作ってみたいな、と思いました。勿忘もそうですが、日本の和といえど煌びやかで豪華絢爛な和ではなく、わたしたちの身近な日常に紡がれる、淡々と繰り返される日々のように寄せては返す中で、すこしでも美しいものを浮かび上がらせて一連にしていくような、そんなイメージの和チルな1曲です。しっとりこっくりさっぱりしています。
